where on the map is Brian Hollars place of residence in relation to this map? That's what I want to see, and what's his habits? Where was he on the morning of Jill's disappearance. I'd also like to see information on the other two suspects place of residence's, and what about that guy who said he couldn't come back from Florida because of Jill?

I meant to say California, not Florida.

The location where Jill's bike is found is approx 2-3 miles on the same road where Brian lived at the time.

I am not familiar about the guy in Florida/California. There has been talk of Jim Izard the former girls basketball coach being involved. That has never been investigated to my knowledge. I guess he had a thing for young girls. He got fired from IU previously to Jill's abduction. There has also been talk of possible involvement/connection with the Chris Thiel suicide/murder. Apparently Mr. Thiel was not well liked by some close to Jill. He supposedly killed his girlfriend and then himself about 2 weeks after Jill being abducted.

someone needs to write a book about all this, of course there needs to be a new trial first AND get Dr. Phil working on this, he can prove John is innocent if he truly is. Which many as myself feel there could be evidence proving his innocense.

What were the makes and models of the shotguns that were stolen by John?

Are all of the guns accounted for???

What was the make and model of the forestock found at the crime scene?

While I cannot tell you the makes and models of the guns (because I simply don't know) - I can tell you that they were ALL recovered and were ALL ruled out. Also, they were ALL reported stolen 7 months after Jill disappeared. And, I can tell you that John was NEVER charged with stealing the guns - the charge was possession of stolen property. Although we have a picture of the forestock found at the crime scene, it has never been identified and NO ONE seems to know where it is now.

A few weeks after Jill disappeared I was visiting a relative who lived at Willow Manor Apartments. While there Wendy Owings came into the apartment and was introduced to me only as Wendy. Wendy mentioned that she knew me because I went to school with her Mother. I disagreed and went back to trying to have a conversation with my relative only to be interrupted again by Wendy. This time Wendy was laughing and said that “the cops in this town are so f*cking stupid”. She claimed that they (whoever she had been with) had been pulled over earlier in the evening and they (the cops) missed the fact that she was wearing Jill’s fanny pack, which she held out for us to see. She claimed that it still contained Jill’s ID although she did not take anything out of the fanny pack to show as proof. Not long after this, Wendy was arrested.

Also not long after Wendy was arrested my mom began to tell me that my Cousin, who was in jail at the time, had been telling his then girlfriend that he had knowledge of what had happened to Jill. She began repeating this information to anyone and everyone at the GE Plant that she worked at that would listen to her. She was finally told that she couldn’t work at GE for the time being because her talk of Jill was causing too many waves and death threats against her had begun to circulate. In the meantime my cousin was talked to about his knowledge and given a lie detector test. All the family was told of about the test was that it went okay.

His story was that two escort girls had worked overnight in the Lake Monroe area and that two men had gone to pick them up the next morning. The four were cruising (just driving without going to any particular place) around while continuing to party (do drugs). The driver accidentally hit Jill while she was standing next to her bicycle. He got out of the truck and, thinking Jill was dead, tossed her and the bike into the back of the truck. They continue driving to the Salt Creek area where Jill was unloaded from the bed of the truck, find to still be alive, and raped by both men before being stabbed. Both escort girls were ordered to stab Jill as well so they would also be involved in the death and not likely to snitch. In this story there was no mention of Jill’s body being put in the creek.

After reading through the papers that Gary Dunn had put together I think I can see why my cousins test came out okay. He was the owner of an escort service that went by two different names. I believe that Wendy and/or Alisha were his employee(s).

My cousins story fits pretty close to what Wendy claimed with the exception of there being two men in the truck, the rape, Jill being wrapped in plastic, and of Jill being put into the creek.

I agree that it isn’t likely that Jill’s body was placed into the creek and then removed, as it would have been impossible for her body to be fished back out. So I’m thinking that they did go on to the Salt creek area, possibly wrapped her in plastic and stabbed her. I would think they put her body back in the truck to be disposed of elsewhere. I believe that Wendy was dropped off on the south side of town and that the bicycle was dumped on the way to take Alisha to Stinesville.

My questions about this story are:
Why would Wendy claim that the body of Jill was put into the creek?
Was Jill wearing her fanny pack on the morning she disappeared? If so did it turn up with her clothes? Or where is it now?
If they did put Jill’s body in the creek, whose body was found in Paragon?
Whose jewelry was found with the body?

Userful blog. Thanks!

What about the more than two dozen other young women murdered or disappeared from around Bloomington/Martinsville and other Indiana college towns, including Ann Harmeier and the one who had the letters KN cut into her chest.

Oh, and Becky Harvey in Washington, and Pixie Grismore from Terre Haute. And the four from around Purdue....
